Mon Ptit Cat ,

J’oïme énn amas mon ptit cat,                   I va partout ouêqué j’va,                            I va fràn sous les couvertures d’mon lliet, Pour grimaï les pids, lé ptit lai,            Mais n’y a pâ d’dàngier qué j’lé bat,       Car aupres tout ch’est mon ptit cat.

I love my little cat a lot,                         He goes everywhere that I go,                He goes right underneath the bedcovers, To scratch my feet, the little pest,        But there’s no danger of me hitting him,  Because after all he’s my little cat.
